This course provides an introduction to temporary traffic control in a work zone for those who work in the field installing and removing traffic control devices. It teaches concepts, techniques and practices in the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices. Students are provided with a “Pocket Guide” that will prove to be an indispensable tool in the field. This handy guide contains material condensed from the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) but in a simplified, easy to understand and use format. 

Note: Passing this course with a grade of at least 80% is a prerequisite to taking the Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) Course.
